After reading about Mickey4kids being in Cafe Mickey the other night it has spurred me on to book it. We are booked for 6.15pm Wednesday 14th March.
Can't wait.
YAY!
how many of you and how much will it cost?
i really want to go but i worry it will cost over a £100 for 3 adults and one child? i just can't justify the cost
oh well i can always enjoy looking at your pics!

Just had a look at the menu on the dlpfoodguide and for 2 adults, 3 kids, plus drinks and 1 starter it is coming in at approx 119Euro - £85. DP is a veggie, so will only have a pizza and a starter. I will only eat a main course, not into starters or desserts and the kids menu is 15 Euro. It is a bit more expensive than we would normmally pay, but so worth it to see the kids faces when they see the characters.
Hi, new member. Blimey, £85! we are in the same situation. 2 adults and 3 kids.
We are visiting DLP from 31st march until 4th april. it is my birthday (35th) on the 2nd so we were thinking of making it special for us all by visiting Cafe Mickey. I'd even considered booking it as that's what seems advised round here.
I really wanna eat there, but £85 is a lot and mi kids don't even eat very much. hmmmm. have to think about it.
You wont be disappointed and when you see the queue later on when you leave you will be pleased you booked earlier. Whilst we were there the characters came out three times. Each time one character was replaced by a new one. In the first lot we had captain hook, who was then replaced and out came Minnie. Then Mr Smee left and out came Tigger so you could stay all evening and see more.
Maureen, if you like characters then Plaza Gardens was also a nice treat. We booked straight after the parade at 4.30 pm (if you look at my trip report) and it only cost about 9 euros each I think. Mulan1 this may interest you as its nice for characters.
I am also a veggie and had no problem eating there. I had a fantastic starter called Tinkerbell something and Mulan's Pasta for main (although it had no pasta in it, rather noodles).
It is possible to keep the cost down. We had a bottle of wine (20), 1 set menu (34 - starter, main and dessert) and a starter (8) plus main course (19) plus the kids menu (15) - thats a total of 96.
So, lose the wine and the starters/dessert and it can be a reasonably priced meal. Its fab though and worth the money.
I was surprised at the space inside - I thought the tables would be bunched together but they weren't.

You will love Cafe Mickey, the character interaction, the singing and dancing CM's make it a superb venue, and we were impressed with the food too.
It does seem expensive but you do get quality time with the characters, if you've got young kids it's a real "must-do".
and when you see the length of the queue outside waiting you'll be so pleased you made a reservation.
