Everything is set BWV booked from 2-17 through 2-24. Had to do Thurs-Thursday to keep cost down with flights. Any experiences to share with resort or time of year? 6 of us in a 2 bedroom lockoff....

In my opinion this is the best resort we have experienced. You will have a fantastic time there.

The Bellevue room is a very pleasant little bar.

The community hall is worth checking out - a lot of resorts don't have them. We never manage to spend time there.

There are no restaurants (other than the Bellevue room) INSIDE the resort. If it rains a lot, this can be a problem.

The walk to Epcot is short and pleasant. Unless you are really tired or traveling with small kids, someone disabled or elderly, there isn't much reason to the the boat to Epcot (we often take it home because the kids are TOO TIRED to do any more walking).

The walk to the Studios is longer - long enough that most people take the boat. It is walkable though, if you don't get in your daily allotment of walking at Disney

Make sure to be around one evening for the Boardwalk entertainment.

You will love BWV!

The weekend you are going I am sure you are aware is Presidents Weekend....I know because we will be there too. It gets quite busy in the parks over that weekend but gets better after the holiday.

NASCAR just released their 2011 schedule and the Daytona 500 is 2/20. A lot of people, like us, stay at Disney and go to the race on Saturday and Sunday. This year, WDW was crazy busy. I have never seen it so bad for that weekend. Not only was it Daytona 500, President's week, I think every single cheerleader and band member from every school in America was there.
The weather is all over the board at that time of year. This year was COLD and 2 years ago we all got burned sitting at the race. Two years before that, we froze on Saturday and got burned on Sunday. Go figure.
Boardwalk is our home resort and you will love it.
