Sooo excited. Scary Clown Pool here we come! After much debate we are staying at the BWI Deluxe club level(whatever that means besides $$$$) But it's a first for us.- concierge. I feel a little like the Beverly Hillbillies but we'll love it I'm sure.
Time to get my ticker! Thanks for all the help in chosing and answering all my questions.
When all is said and done- we opted no dining plan but Park hopper water park passes for all of us.
So who is with us? We'll be there June 29-July 6

We will be at the Villas JUne 30- July 5 then we switch over to AKV for 6 days.
We can't wait either did BCV last trip and really want to hit the Scary Clown Pool.

I just think that entire area is just wonderful and we are not far off the Hillbilly stigma either . Without DVC we would never be able to stay at these places like we do.

We have 3rd at MK and the 4th at Epcot so far but nothing else really planned right now. DD14 will be bringing a friend for the first time so that should be nice.

We are not big eaters so we have never done the DP but will be getting our PAPs again with an Early trip for June of 09 and any small trip we can squeeze in.

You will love the resort, and the club level CMs. Enjoy!!! :cool1:

Thanks!
And No Prince we'll be doing the MK on the 3rd and Epcot on the 4th as well!
We avoid MK on the 4th like the plague.

Oh and one of my 4 kids is a 14 year old boy- I'm just saying........:rolleyes1

Java--Congrats!! You will LOVE the BWI! It is our favorite resort and we LOVE the Club level!:lovestruc The cast members are great! Just like another family to us! The deluxe room is fantastic. The extra room is nice and having two tvs is a plus so there is no fighting with DD and this year her best friend. Plus the Boardwalk view can't be beat!:cloud9: To us the Boardwalk is part of Disney. You will not be disappointed. We will be there again in May and I can't wait!!

Congratulations! I've booked my first BWI concierge experience as well. Unfortunately, I have to wait until October!

I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures to share so you can get in the mood! The planning is half the fun anyway so happy planning- In about 3 months I'll decide we all need matching shirts and I'll go tie -dye happy again. Our Mickey tie dyes from last year were a HUGE hit with everyone. We met so many CM's when we were wearing them and had to give instructions to each and everyone.

I got my email questionare today too!

Sounds great! I'm super excited. I've been to WDW several times but am more excited about this one than any other. Many reasons - first time at BWI, first time without family but with a friend who has never been before, Food & Wine (my favorite!).

You are right, planning is half the fun. I even enjoy how crazy it makes me.

You're going to love the BWI! We stayed at AKL, BWI and GF CL last month, the BWI concierge staff was by far the best. They made us feel like a part of their family. We loved being so close to Epcot and MGM and sitting on the balcony at night to watch the entertainment below....aww, I'm homesick :sad1: .

Have a wonderful trip. I'm going to be posting a full review with pics real soon.

:rotfl2: Last night the Seinfeld rerun we caught was the one about Pagliacci and Joe Divola in a clown suits asks Krammer "Are you still afraid of clowns" And he replies nervously"A little":rotfl2:
Really the pool is what has kept us from this place. I am not a clown fan. Ever see It?:scared1:
Or this one
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
My FIL used to watch that all the time cracking up and I was like:scared1: the entire time.
Can't they come up with a better boardwalk themed pool like a roller coaster? or a Wave? Or anything but that CLOWN!

That episode is hilarious and I share the sentiment about clowns. YES I have seen it! Once I saw the picture, my DH was sitting here with me and I was like :scared1: OMG! that is the freakiest thing I have ever seen! He gets a kick out of it. Poltergeist is what damaged me. :rotfl:

 I thought we were the only family that had such a deep aversion to clowns!
We were watching the planning video and the rest of the family said no way they'd stay there, I had to put my foot down and insist. The kids (they're 12 and 15 btw..not exactly "kids") ended up loving the pool.

Actually, it is a wooden roller coaster. You just come out of the scary clown's mouth! :lmao: I'm not a clown fan either, but it's my favorite pool- even over SAB! The slide is great, quick and with lots of turns.

I'd love to know whoever thought that coming down the slide out of a scary clown mouth would be a good idea for DISNEY?

I can't wait to hear how you like concierge - la de da!

We were there last year June 28-July 12. I love that time of year. We do the same thing - MK on the 3rd and EPCOT on the 4th.

Take lots of pictures - can't wait to see how you like BWI.
