Booked, but no payments have left?

Morning all!

So yesterday I booked SSR for a week in May 2013 but opted to pay the deposit on my debit card (normal visa debit) for £100 with the balance due in March! However I checked my account this morning and the funds have not been debited! Does it sometimes take a few days to process?

I have received my confirmation email and booking reference!

Yes, as far as I can remember it took 2-3 days before the money went out of my account when I booked with Disney UK. As long as you've got a confirmation e-mail and booking ref. I wouldn't worry!

Thank you! Yeah I booked directly through the Disney Website, I just panicked when it hadn't left my account. Will check again in the next few days and hopefully it will have left

It always takes a while to process.

It depends on when you did the booking.
There seems to be a set time when all transactions are postponed to the next day

for example, if I send money from account to account even in the same bank, if the transaction is made after 5pm it will not be processed until the next day. And even then the money can stay on my account for another day.

but if you have a confirmation number, it means that WDTC has received confirmation (it's automated) from the VISA service that they will be paid.

I booked ours on my debit card through the Disney site too and I think it took about 3 days to come out. Same when I rang and added the flights

the same thing happened to me.

i paid the balance of our wdw hol on thursday am-only got the invoice email late last night.

however, on the wdw site-manage my booking-it did show straightaway payment had been made.

Panic over! The money has gone from my account this morning!

Must just remember that when I pay the balance it may take a few days and that I canT spend it! Haha! Xxxx
