Booked Aulani!

Congratulations on your Aulani booking! Stayed last October for the first time, and wasn't sure how I was going to enjoy Disney's version of Hawaii.
Well, it was wonderful. You are going to enjoy it. We are already looking forward to our next stay at Aulani.
Do venture out and explore Oahu. Waikiki area aside, there are many wonderful things to discover. The north shore is amazing.
Also, one gem that we stumbled upon and highly recommend: Doris Duk'es Shangri La. Do check it out. AMAZING how some people lived. http://www.shangrilahawaii.org/

Aulani is amazing! We've been twice now, and I have a couple of nights booked in September before the DCL Hawaii cruise! Yay!!

The restaurants at Aulani are AMA AMA (fine dining and beachfront, serves B, L and D), Makahiki, the buffet restaurant that does the character breakfasts as well, and the counter service Ulu Cafe. There are also a couple more counter service windows for food options as well as the 2 main lounges, Off the Hook and Olelo Room. The adult pool has a snack bar as well. Here's a link for Aulani dining options:

Ko'Olina Station is right across the street from Aulani, easy walking distance, and has fast food options as well as a nice restaurant, Monkeypod Kitchen. We had mixed reviews for Monkeypod, some things we really liked like their white pizza with Hamakua Ali'i mushrooms. Yum!

Roy's Ko'Olina is also nearby, though just a slightly longer walk.

We really enjoy AMA AMA for breakfast and lunch. And the portions are big enough to split. The views? Divine!

Happy planning everyone!
