Had to share on here as can't put it on FB yet as I haven't got the leave approved from work yet :headache:

Had a booking week - booked flights to NYC in April when we are doing a side trip to FL - just need to book the internal flights now.

Then today I booked our DVC accommodation for December :yay::yay:

Sounds great. We are going to NYC for the fist time in June.

We are going to NYC for the first time in March :)

Internal flights have shown up as pretty cheap in the past so hopefully you'll get a good deal :)

We stopped off in NYC in 2002, would love to go back again but we want to stay in the same hotel(and room) as last time, Crowne Plaza Times Sq. We paid £150/nt back then now I never see it much under £275 a night. Can't bring myself to pay that for a hotel:rotfl:

Sounds amazing - I love NYC :lovestruc. It would be fab to combine the trips but my girls are a bit little yet. I will get them to NYC one day!

Enjoy the planning :goodvibes.

Wayne, sorry to hijack :goodvibes but we have booked Crowne Plaza TS (for much less than £275/night :rotfl2:) was it a good hotel?

I know what you mean Wayne, we are struggling to find a decently priced hotel. Most are coming up well over £170 per night - at least the ones in Manhattan are. And the hotel rooms are like half the size of those in Florida. And don't even get me started on 14.5% tax :scared:

I booked my NYC holiday today too for Feb 22nd' my friend lives out there so I'm lucky I don't have to pay for accommodation :)

Booked Aer Lingus after Wayneg recommendations as to how good they were with immigration!

Really the hotel was nothing amazing, a good 4 star hotel but the view we had was the best we have ever had, overlooking TS and thru to the Empire State building. It was the view that made it special.

Accommodation in NY is sorted as we are staying with family which will just cost us a couple of dinners ;)

Also comes with in house babysitting for when we go into NYC :rolleyes1

Thanks - that's what we figured :)

For a Deluxe room overlooking Times Square we have paid £130/night. We figured it doesn't matter too much about the hotel as even if it's not great, we won't be spending long in it :thumbsup2

Great price, who did you find it that low with?

Thats the best way Tracy, hotels are so expensive in the cities.

We have just booked 2 nights in London, 2 shows (Jersey Boys & Willie Wonka) still to book train, costing a small fortune and thats staying in a budget hotel.

Take a look at www.radiocityapartments.com or if your feeling brave give hotwire or Priceline a go

Sounds like you've got a fun time ahead planning your trip.

Enjoy :wizard:
