Booked A Package Previously..Can I use a Code?

I booked a package at the AS Movies on the DisneyWorld website for October 14-18th. I see that the new codes have come out, and I want to see if I can modify my reserveration and use one of the existing codes. I know that the AS Movies is excluded, but I was thinking of upgrading to the BWI or the YC. Has anyone sucessfully done this after booking a package? Thanks for your help!!

I just got off the phone with CRO and they said that since I booked a package through WDWTC, I could not use these codes. I would have to cancel my package(which would mean that I would loose the airfare which is non-refundable) and book using these codes.

She did say that on August 1, something similar to this would be coming out for WDWTC for those who booked packages and that I can try then and see if I can get a deal. She said the special is pending in the system so she was not 100% positive that this would happen, but if it did it would be around AUG 1.

I am bummed that I could not get these room deals

Dang that stinks!!! We didn't book our airfare with the package (we are flying Jet Blue), so I guess we could cancel, but I wonder how long it would take to get a refund? Maybe we will just wait until August 1st to see what comes out. Thanks for your reply!!
