I just booked a cruise for Sept. 2005. I got a great deal. Now only 5 more days until I can book my Dec.2004 trip to SSR.:bounce: :Pinkbounc

We're leaving in a little over a month for our 10th cruise on the Magic! You'll have a great time. Go to the DCL board for all the scoop...

Which cruise did you book, i.e., 3 day, 4 day, etc.? If you don't mind us asking, how much do they require down when paying in cash upon booking the cruise? We have never taken a cruise and are considering it within the next year or two. Thanks.

We booked a four night cruise. We booked two cat.11 rooms. My MIL is going to stay we the boys and DH and I will be right next door. It was cheaper to do this than to have the boys with us in a larger room. The deposit was $1000 but the other $965 isn't due until July 2005. We are going on my birthday Sept.11th and we will go to Disney World the week before so that we can be there on DH's birthday Sept.9th. I thought we got a great deal at less than $400 per person. I am going to rent out some points to pay for it.

Thanks for the quick response! Since we have never been on a cruise, what is a cat. 11 room, i.e. inside no window, etc? We would be traveling with either four or five. Thanks.

A category 4 room would be the lowest category that can hold 5 people. A category 11 will hold up to 4 only.

You might consider two category 10 rooms that connect as a cheaper alternative though. Please visit our Cruise Board here on the DIS for lots of cruising info.
