Booked 9 days of magic in September!

Just booked this years trip, 9 days in September at the Sequoia Lodge, have an adapted room so it can sleep 7 and has tons of room as we are a party of 5, me, my wife, my mum, and our two children, Owen(6) and Olivia(4). Owen has menkes disease which leaves him severely physically and mentally disabled, he relies on constant 24hr care for everything, unfortunately his condition is terminal and 6 months before his 3rd birthday when he was diagnosed we were told he probably wouldn't see his 3rd birthday, we have booked this trip as Owen will turn 7 during our stay so am hoping to sort out some kind of Disney party for him. It is our 4th trip since the diagnosis and both Owen and Olivia just adore the Disney magic as we all do.

How would I go about sorting a birthday party for Owen? I'm thinking Cafe Mickey, I know they do parties and our travel agent says they can only book a cake, Can i contact the Cafe directly and organize it?

Also I need to contact the hotel and see if they can maybe do some balloons for his birthday and I mustn't forget to sort the VIP breakfast passes, they were a godsend for us last time.

Wonderful news - we went for 9 nights once so we had almost 10 days there and it was sooooooo relaxing.

Can't help with the birthday party either so I'd suggest you contact DLP about it and hopefully they'll point you in the right direction.

This is wonderful news I would give guest services a ring as you can explain all the needs and requests and they may suggest other things you haven't thought of. I hope you get plenty of pixiedust and have an amazing time. Enjoy the planning!
