Hi everyone,

I posted this in the budget board but havent had much success. Hope you guys can help!

We currently have a package booked from May 10-19. We will be staying at CBR for the first time. I have not boooked airfare yet, we are flying from NYC. Jetblue has a promo going now and Kids fly free and you get a room only discount. I compared the reservation I have now with another through Jetblue. The Jetblue package would save us $500+ with the price that airfare is now. Here is an estimated breakdown:

Disney MYW Package 5/10-5/19
9 nights & 9 Day base ticket =$2664.06
Airfare Used same flights as below=$1335.20
Total= $3999.26

Jetblue package5/9-5/18
9 nights & airfare=$2146.84
Undercover Tourist 10 day base tickets=$1284.75
Total $3431.59

Ok so is there something I'm missing? We have always booked our whole package through Disney so I am a little skeptical but the savings would be great. Would it make sense to cancel reservation with Disney and rebook with Jetblue? Has anyone booked a package through Jetblue? If so how did it go? We have never used undercover Tourist and I'm a little nervous. We would have to adjust our dates by 1 day to do the Jetblue package. We will leave and return a day earlier. Our plan was to stay for Star Wars weekend and it begins 5/17, so we will still have 2 days for that. Plus we would get 10 day ticket instead of 9 which would not really affect us but it's still a bonus lol. Or are we better off waiting for airfare and seeing if it comes down around the 6 wk out mark, last year we paid a little under $1k roundtrip. What does everyone think?

Thanks for your help!
Melissa

JetBlue is a trusted company, so I think you're better off going with whoever will save you money. UnderCover Tourist is also a very trusted site, so no worries there, either.

Also consider if you have Trueblue account with JetBlue, booking a getaway package with them will get you a significant amount of Trueblue points that you can use towards future travel with them, more points then you would get booking just airfare alone though them. This might be an additional savings to you if you think you will likely fly with JetBlue again sometime.

I just booked a trip for may with Jetblue. As others have said I would trust them. Just read the fine print carefully as that may affect your rental car if you book that through them as well. I booked a mini van with m,y package because I am staying off property, adn the van was much cheaper with the package then anything I could get elsewhere.
Also I just bought UT tickets last month, and they came in the mail within a week. I bought the 10day non-expiration so we can spread them out over 3 or 4 trips. Too many parks in a week drains our family and me too much, so we like to do water park days, pool days and shopping/eating out days.
