So we are interested in booking the 8 night NYC to Bahamas/ WDW on Oct 6th. I know that last year the NYC cruises did not sell that well since DCL offered a bunch of guaranteed rates, including some for Canadian residents.
This year they added Marvel day at sea to these sailings, I'm assuming to make them more attractive.
I was thinking of booking this since there is the 50% off deposit offer now.
I am actually kicking myself as we had a placeholder from a cruise last Fall, and our TA moved it from a placeholder status to some cheapie cruise (not sure why they do that), then we moved it to a sailing this spring but unfortunately had to cancel. Did not realize this also canceled the placeholder, but I should have known, not blaming the TA. The 10% off and OBC would make things easier now for sure.
Anyway... I don't know how to tell if this cruise is selling well... would you book or wait to see if DCL discounts any of the rooms?
