Book now or wait

I am sure this has been asked before but .... We are planing a trip for Sept 09 5 adults 4 Kids. We are hopping for free dinning. My question is this should we book now and then add free dinning latter or wait to see if it comes out ?

In view of how ugly the available ressies got for early Dec '08 [which is also listed as a slow time] I would book now if you are really going to go. You can, of course book even if you plan to cancel, but would urge you to consider that it will be a room that someone else who is going FD or not won't be able to book.

I never thought I'd be looking at near capacity bookings 1/2 ahead of time for "slow season" but its happened....

With that many people, were you planning on 2-3 rooms or a big suite? If you are firm on the hotel decision and dates, then I would book the rooms now, maybe with a AAA discount, and then make changes later as the discount codes come out. If you are very flexible with your plans, then you can wait till much later to book whatever is available when then discounts are announced.
