I will be going to wdw from 4/5-4/9/07...which is holy thursday to easter monday....i live in NYC... Right now the airfare that i see is rather high except on AA from LGA which is $312 RT....the others are around $487-500. Do you think these airfares will come down or should I book now....my absolute preference in airfare is jetblue...and i will prob pay to fly them but i was just wondering if you think their prices might go down? thanks.

I'm in the same boat as you. We are flying either 3/30 pm or 3/31 1st flight and returning 4/9. - lga or jfk. Want Jet Blue, but they are extremely high. This is the first time we are going prime time - usually pull dd out of school for a week in low season, but since she is in 6th grade and has so much more work than last year. She is an A student, but I am really on the fence with this. ANYWAYS..... I am used to paying alot lower airfare. I just don't want it to jump up even higher. I usually purchase airfare way in advance, but might chance SW this time.

I would book your airfare now or within the next month or two. We went for Easter weekend in 2004. We bought our airfare in January, but we weren't able to choose seats at the time. It turned out the flight was overbooked, and we must have bought our tickets when the flight was already full. It turned out fine in the end (In fact, we got upgraded to first class along with some other adult couples! It seemed like they wanted to keep all the children in coach.), but it was actually pretty stressful not knowing if we'd be allowed on the plane until after BOARDING ALL ROWS had been called.

It was even more stressful to my husband (then boyfriend), because, unbeknownst to me, this was the trip on which he was planning to propose, so he was pretty freaked out about possibly not getting on the flight!

I'm flying down on the Wednesday before Easter. We are flying out of Milwaukee at 2:30 p.m. to MCO, but we are flying back home through Tampa to Milwaukee. I got tickets this past June for $213 a person. Sometimes flying home from Tampa is cheaper on Easter Week. Plus I got a rental car from Dollar for $22 a day.

Tough call, but I fly out of the NYC area as well and have never paid that much for airfare and we always fly around easter. Last year I got lucky with Continental out of newark for 69 each way. Have you looked into flying Southwest? Or flying out of Newark?

Delta is 268 right now, out of LGA if you leave the night of 4/3 and come back on 4/9 or leave the night of 4/4.

We are flying out of Milwaukee as well - we have not book our tix as my daughter just auditioned for first stage and the practice starts 4/9 - I doubt she will make it as they callback tons of kids - I may end up emailing them as I want to book the air if she didn't make it.

Did you have a code for dollar to get the $22 per day?????

Thanks
Leslie
