Book Now for Nov 2005?

Hi All,

My husband and I have been to WDW many times but we are going to be going to WDW with friends of ours and their three children from Nov 19th through the 26th of 2005. Right now only AAA rates are out for 2005. I am hoping to be able to get a savanna view room with an AP rate for our stay. So, I was thinking about booking a pool view room with an AP rate just so we have a room booked so to speak.

So for those of you that have experiance traveling to WDW during Thanksgiving week what do you think? Book the pool view now at AAA rate and then hope for AP rates on a savanna view room or should I not book anything and just wait?

I booked AKL, deluxe savanah view for Thanksgiving week '05 about a month ago. Even though I called 9 months early for my May/June 05 visit, the AAA rate was already unavailabe for one of my nights, so I went ahead and booked for November early so I could be sure of the AAA rate.

We haved booked already also.
This year we will be at POR from Nov 24-28...really wanted WL..but they are SOLD OUT.

So we booked WL next November from 22-27th. AAA rate somewhere around $1000.

Hopefully when AP rate for that time frame is out we can have it applied.

But supposedly next Thanksgiving it will be regular season. So its going to be higher than it would for this year.

Either way, we know we will be at WL in November and plan on staying there in August 05 too.

I called in August for our April 2005 weekend. Only got AAA initially but when the General Public code came out last month, I called back and got the discounted rate. And I may call back again once the AP rates come out for our dates.

So my advice would be to book a room at the AAA rate, just so you have one, then improve your rate as better rates come out.

What kind of rate did you get for April at AKL with the public discount code??? We are waiting for codes for May...Do you think it is possible to get on of those $119 standard room rates for the week before Memorial day???
