Where did you find this deal??

I second the Clarion- their website says they offer Nintendo for a fee. That's not a common amenity...

It does sound like the Clarion, but 3 stars is generous for that place. If you want to stay there, look into getawaytoday.com. They have a package deal with 3- or 4-day park-hoppers that gives you free parking at the Clarion and a few more extras. That hotel is also across the street from the Toy Story parking lot, so you can walk there and take the Toy Story shuttle for free instead of paying for the ART.

If you want something a little nicer, hotwire.com has been running a mystery 3.5 star (most likely Sheraton) at the North end of DL for around $60.

ohh which Sheraton? The Sheraton at the park? Now that would be a great deal! Sorry too but in your thread hehe. ... I love those guessing games- just my luck I would end up with Eden Roc! :lmao:

what so you booked something without knowing the name of the hotel??

I wouldn't book anything price cheap or expensive unless I knew the name of the hotel

or

do you know the name of the hotel and just want us to guess?

This is how priceline started. You can do this on hotwire and a few other sites. You name what you need and pay without knowning exactly what you will get. Knowing some discriptors you can rule out other hotels and narrow down the possibilities of what you will get. It can work incredibly well to get a bargain in some areas.

Could it be Marriott Suites? I didn't google how many rooms they had though. I love betterbidding.com it has helped me book great deals!

Exactly! Hotwire, for example, gives you a map of the possible area the hotel may be in. I don't think it gives you floors and room totals like the OP has, which helps greatly, but by showing you the stars and amenities, you can use a site like Tripadvisor to figure out which hotel is the mystery hotel, or at least narrow it down to 2 or 3. For the DL area, Hotwire has it split into Disnelyland North and Disneyland South, and it is easy to check the maps against the Tripadvisor maps.

This works great if you are not concerned about walking distance or other special considerations. If you are worried about quality, just look for 4-star deals. On our last trip, we got multiple rooms for four nights at the Holiday Inn & Suites on Ball/Wallnut for around $40/night per room.
