Final payment for our 1/18 cruise has been made and we received the shore excursion info from Dreams. We know which excursion we want, but I am holding off booking it as we won't know for sure, until 1/7, if we will be able to go on the cruise or not. My father is having health problems, so if he needs to have surgery we will have to cancel. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and book our excursion now, or if I should wait until we're onboard. I hate the thought of having to call again, to cancel it, if I book it now and we're unable to go. But if I wait, and we do go, maybe it will be booked up and we won't be able to take it. I'm just wondering if most of the excursions are booked up before people get on board, or do most wait until they are on the ship?

Sorry about your situation.

If you book now you know you have it and if by chance you have to cancel you still have to call, so go ahead and book. It's one less thing to worry about.

I understand your situation. I am scheduled to cruise 1/4, but since my mother is ill, i am not yet sure if i will be able to. I think you get charged to your room, so I would say go ahead and book excursions, especially if they are limited availability...

good luck!
