Hi,

Any advice on whether to book direct through Disney online or to book using Dreams Unlimted???

Thanks!

My advice is to book through Dreams Unlimited. I love Tammy, our Dreams TA. Love her love her love her! She has been so wonderful--and unbelievably PATIENT with my crazy questions and requests. I already feel that part of the magic of the cruise will be that she was our TA.

Good luck--and Bon Voyage!

First two cruises booked direct through DCL - on the second when a promotional price became available I had to call and do all the leg work to get the new price.

3rd cruise booked through Dreams. When a promotional price became available they booked it for me before I even knew it existed.

4th cruise doesn't count as it was on DVC points.

5th cruise through Dreams and we have out 6th (Dec. 2004) booked through them as well.

Great service!

We booked our first cruise (March 12, 2005) with Dreams. We made this decision from all of the great things we read here. At the time of booking DCL quote was $300 more. Also know if promotional prices are cheaper we have someone looking out for our best interest. We are very happy with them so far.

We book through DCL first. Then if a good deal comes trough with DU or another TA -- like cruiseco.com, we transfer our reservation to them.

We have been very pleased with DU. We have eight rooms booked with them for 11/29 and in addition to the DU discount, they have gotten us lower rates than originally booked rates. They do this automatically without asking. When the lower rates came available, DU contacted us without us even knowing about the rate availability. In the case of 4 rooms, there was no discount for the booked category, but DU checked a higher category that had a discount rate $300 less the the lower original category. They gave us our options, and had new room assignments as soon as we said go! So we got upgrades and saved $!!!

They have been very quick with answers to questions, and always helpful. We have dealt with Tammy, and I agree with the previous post that she has been great!

I've booked both of my cruises with Dreams and have been very pleased.

If they are not offering any promotions right now, I would book through DCL now (the earlier, the lower the price) and keep an eye out for Dreams' promotions. Then transfer the ressie to Dreams.

I have a $200 instant rebate and $100. shipboard credit on one room, a $150 IR and $100 SBC on the other.

That's a lot of money!

Our first cruise we booked from DCL, second was from Cruise.com and our third is booked from Dreams. i booked the 3rd with Dreams due to all the positive feedback from the board and the discounts.
