I thought that when you were booking at the 11/7 month window you could only book for 7 nights then had to add on to the ressie if you were staying longer the following days? I booked 10 nights right at the 11 month window on line is this correct? Just wondering why I thought you could not do it or is it something new?

What you say you did should have been impossible because the on-line system does not allow you to pick a departure date beyond a week from the arrival date when booking exactly 11 months out from date of arrival. If you were allowed to do so, the system likely had an error.

It's always only been 7 nights. I would be curious if this changed. We always go more than 7 nights and having to call and add days is such a chore. When I booked my Oct 2014 reservation last week, the window only opened up for 7 nights but this was before the recent upgrade a few days later. I'll ask when I call this morning to add more days to my reservation.

I was able to book 8 nights all at once at exactly 11 months... I didn't even realize I shouldn't have been able to.

Just did an experiment.

The online system now allows you to book up to a 14 night stay at your home resort 11 months in advance of your arrival date.

For the 7 month window, the limit is still 7 nights.

Perhaps this was done with a recent upgrade. It makes sense to me - no more calling MS to add the additional nights for a stay longer than a week. My guess is that 14 nights captures the vast majority of stays longer than 145 nights. Should save some MS time

Weird because I just tried to experiment, and it would not let me. It will only let me choose oct 23-30 I cannot click on even oct 31 as the last day. The 31 is grayed out, as is the arrow to choose into November. This is with oct 23 chosen as check in day. An I doing something wrong? We normally stay more than 7 nights so this would be very convenient.

^Likewise for me. Today (Nov 23) it will only let me reserve at home resort through an Oct 30 departure date because departure date calendar can be used only until Oct 30.

All I can say is that it worked for me when I tried it earlier this morning (14 nights with a check in date of 10/23/2014).

That said, I just tried again and could only reserve 7.

"I am a random bug! Catch me if you can"! :confused3 :teeth:

Like others, I tried online and only got the 7 days available. When I called to add more days, I was only limited to exactly as the past times. Only 7 nights. I wonder if this is going to change, which would be great for my trips and the system is still being tweaked. Strange how some of us got it while others of us did not. I have 2 more days to add to my October 2014 trip and still doing it by phone. Though this would be nice because most of my trips are 10-14 nights long.

Yes I definitely went on at the 11 month window and put in arrival of Oct 1st out on the 11th and it let me book all 10 nights. I did not even think anything of it until a few days later (remembered in the past I always had to call). Just tried again for dates starting today and no go - weird.

I have never been able to book more than 7 nights at one resort at 11 months. But our last trip was for 11 nights by booking a split stay between our 2 home resorts.
