Book 4/3 deal and not stay all 7 days?

My friend wants to book the 4/3 deal then leave after the 5th day. They already had airfare booked when the deal came out. They would check out on the 5th day, not just leave, but would this even work? Is there a better way for them to save money instead of trying this approach?

Tell them to just book for the 5 days. They will still get the 5th day free.

So you aren't required to stay 7 nights? That would be wonderful for them.

No, you are not required to stay the full 7 days, and you can also stay longer then 7 days as well. Just make sure the apply the code to the reservation for any stay longer then 4 days.

Nope, 5 will work just fine - we are doing this and it's only the 5th night that is free but hey, it's FREE! And changing the airfare to take advantage of the other free nights would cost us about $400 in airline fees plus upcharges for airfare of about $400, plus the dining plan for those days - sadly, two extra days in the park just isn't worth the $1000 upcharge to me, honestly. I'd rather put that money towards the NEXT trip.

we are booked for 7 but at this point will likely only be staying for 5 nights. Same thing - I booked our airfare back in August and are piggy-backing WDW with a visit to my Mom's in Ft Myers. She'd be a little miffed if we spent all our time at the World!

There might be an AP code coming out, if rooms withthe current promo are booked up. Then again, who knows, disney might offer another deal, too.

There aren't rooms available for their dates even without a code. Nothing at all. So they are now booked at the Dolphin! Its going to be super crowded in January! They arrive on the 8th for 5 nights.

When we booked they had availability for our room category for seven nights, but not for six. So, we are booked for seven nights. If we fly everything will stay the same. If we have to drive then we have to knock off a night. Either way, we are still getting free nights.
