Wah! I was looking forward to seeing this in February. I just read on AllEars that it is closing mid September.
My daughter has been "visiting' the pictures of it since we decided to visit WDW.
Sigh... now we REALLY need to get ADR's for a princess dinner!

oh no--we were just there, and stopped to see the show, but it was cancelled due to an approaching storm. :sad2:

Yeah! We'll make it in time! I guess after being crowned 20,000 it just might stick and she'll be a real princess now! I'm gonna record the whole thing. Cant Wait!36 more days! :cheer2:

I just called WDW and changed our check-in date to Sept.16 instead of
Sept.18. My little princess will be happy to watch the show. I plan to watch
the last one. WDW might do some special for the last show.
:cloud9: :cloud9:

Do you know if they are replacing it with a different show? My DD4 and I are headed there the third week in Sept. Luckily we did catch the show in March when we took DD for her first visit.

Oh that's too bad. The Disney site is featuring new park stuff starting October. I think the 'happiest celebration' ends then and the new thing starts. It looks like the Wishes fireworks will be replaced with a new fireworks show. They've also added a "Pirates and Princesses Party" for January through March. Check out the main Disney site for the details.

My little princess will be bumed as well, she loved watching it and still does love watching it on our video cam.... oh to bad that was such a great show!

Cinderella, Cinderella your as lovely as your name.....I love this show too. It is one of my favorites. We are going September 13-18 so I will get to see it one last time. I think I will tape it. The last show is on September 16th.

According to AllEarsnet it closes September 16th. Run don't walk to MK when you get there Hoosier Mom!!! ;)

Windy City Heather: If you do tape it, and this is allowed, can you post your video somewhere when you get back??

Thank you so much. We should arrive at MK at around 2:00. We'd better see that first thing. What are the usual show times?

They are bringing back the Cinderella's Surprise Celebration show, which we actually liked more than Cinderellabration.

The basic plot is that Cinderella is throwing a party and invited Mickey and friends to celebrate with her. She wants to give everyone some gifts and invited her friends to open them. Minnie opens the first gift. Then, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Snow White, her Prince, Belle, and the Beast all come out and dance to a medley of Disney love songs. The next gift is the gift of laughter and Chip and Dale come out, pestering Donald while singing "Everybody's Got a Laughing Place". In his usual temperment, Donald decides its his turn to open a present, and opens a suspicious-looking apple-shapped gift that was planted by the Witch from Snow White earlier in the show. When Donald opens it, The Queen appears calling on a number or other Disney Villains to help her. Mickey, however, opens the gift of courage they defeat the Villains. In the final battle, the befuddled Fairy Godmother tries to remember the magic words that will uno the Queen's evil plot and, with a little help from the audience, she does. The then Queen disappears and the Castle is returned to Cinderella who appears on the stage once again in her ballgown. She thanks the Fairy Godmother for helping her and all the heros and heroines celebrate.

Phew! Thank you!!! Even though the other one sounded great, if it has Mickey in it and Cinderella then both of my kids will be happy!!
:thumbsup2

Now I'm not so bummed....
