The
Disney Store Inc. will recall 14,500 dolls sold at the company's stores in the United States that could be a choking hazard, the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission said on Thursday.
Glendale, California-based Disney Store, part of entertainment-giant Walt Disney, said a ponytail on one of the dolls, created from two characters in the 2001 animated film, Monsters Inc., could detach and cause choking in small children.
The doll in question is a 12-inch blue monster named Sulley holding a 6-inch doll named Boo.
Disney Store said no injuries have been reported.
