I have never logged into the DVC website so many times as I have over the past week!

Why? Because we decided to try and get one night at Hilton Head next week, just because my DH has two days off and we've never been.

We were (and are) waitlisted, and the crazy part is what started as a whim has now become a full-time obsession! I'm like, how can they not squeeze us in for ONE night!!!!

I don't want this to be thought of as a troll for a ressie, because it's not and the odds that you have the one night I want are slim/none, so I won't say the date, but I'm just so crazy about the idea of going now (at first when DH asked me to book it I was like, weeellll, ok), that I'm all set to dial in once the waitlist expires at 7 days to try and get it.

The thought is now occurring to me that maybe I just show up on hilton head and chain myself to the front doors until they find us a room! It's crazy! Waitlists make you crazy!

If you don't get a room and feel like prying your wallet open try the Marriott Beach resort. It's in Palmettos Dunes, two properties away from the DVC Beach House. Beautiful pool area.....not Disney but a lot of fun.

Yeah, I can't bear to do an OOP trip, DH says if we don't get it it wasn't meant to be, augh!!!!

However that feeling may be amended by the time next week rolls around

I called this morning to see if I was still on the waitlist (they expire 7 days in and I wasn't sure) and a studio on friday popped up so I bit the bullet, paid the higher friday price and took it. DH is like, augh, that's 270 bux for one night for a room, HH better be worth it!!!! I hope so too...
