Bonus fastpass+ for Illuminations

Has anyone tried using their 3 fast pass selections for EPCOT and then when all are done tried to get the bonus pass for illuminations? Have the FP for illuminations been sold out? If so around what time are they disappearing?

I was there last week and FPs for Illuminations were listed as unavailable from the get go. I never tried checking if they became available at any other time of day though, so it's possible some people cancel it and you can snag one randomly during the day.
