Bonus Fall Endurance Series Medal.

I receive this email from WDW today:

The longer distance races count for the bonus fall endurance series medal. For example, you will need to complete Disney's Race for the Taste 10K AND the Tower of Terror 13K within the time requirements and in the samecalendar year to get the bonuse medal. The 3K and 5K ARE NOT eligible races. Thanks, Disney Sports.

FALL RACE CHALLENGE COMMEMORATIVE BONUS MEDAL

How do I earn the commemorative Fall Race Challenge bonus medal? Complete both Disney's Race for the Taste 10K and EITHER the Expedition Everest" Challenge OR The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror" 13K in the SAME calendar year and you will earn the commemorative bonus medal.

What if I am registered for Disney's Race for the Taste 3K or The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror" 5K? Can I get the bonus medal? No. The only combinations of eligible races are listed in the question above.

Do I need to sign up for the Fall Race Challenge? No. You are automatically entered into the Fall Race Challenge when you register and complete either combination of races.

How do I get my bonus medal? Bonus medals will be distributed at the finish line of Disney's Race for the Taste 10K and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 13K". More information will be provided in the Final Race Instructions for each event.

So, according to that, You can't do Everest & Tower of Terror and get the bonus medal. You have to do Race for the Taste, is that correct?

Yes, that's what it looks like. Before rumors were any of the three but that's not true.

Ugh. So now I have to find a way to do the WDW and DL marathon weekends in the same year AND the two October races.

I don't know what I miss more about living in Florida, the ease of going to the parks or all the races.

If only I had a job at AIG my bonuses could pay for all these trips!

Oh wow - me and DH are planning on doing EEC and I would have liked to do the 13k again - next Saturday will be my very first 10k (sounds funny saying that since I have done longer races) - so I just might have to add a trip in for the Race for the Taste - I am always looking for extra bling and I can't afford the trip to California!!

My BFF's dad works for AIG and the people at his level didn't get bonuses and had no salary increases since last year. He's not even sure if he'll have a job since they may be selling his division.

I really want to do RFTT, but I'm not sure if I can swing it. I'll wait til this summer to see what my finances are.

I am getting ready to sign up for Race for the Taste and really want that extra medal so...Tower of Terror looks to be in my near future! Disney knows how to get to all of us don't they!!!

I should mention that I overheard a conversation on the bus ride home from the Princess Party - the woman had spoken to the assistant race director and was told that those two races are being considered.

You know Lilly, that drive from Tampa to Disney is very nice and easy. I made it about twice a month when I lived down there. Just sayin'

Yay Robert!! I actually have a room for ToT too, but DH told me I needed to drop one of the races this year. But there is still plenty of time to talk him into it! did you already book a room for both? I have BWV booked for both and we are gonna try AKV for EE.

Yay! I am very excited about all the extra bling I can get without excerting myself anymore that needed! And this is why I LOVE living right next to the I-4 I might even do all three is $$$ allows!

I have room at BCV(1st time staying there) for RFTT. No room yet for ToT but think of doing it soon. I know I will probably have to move to SSR or OKW. Just in case.............
