I have been reading on the boards and the looooooooovvvvvvvvvvvveeeee thread. And will continue (love the pics) I see there have been changes since it started

A couple questions.
Is there now a restuarant on BC property itself. ( Not Waldorf or Hilton)
I understand one pool has a bar with or without food?

We got this thru ebay so sure we won't be able to request a specific area, it is a 2 bedroom, but are the pools far away from some buildings? if at check in they allow us to request. what area is good for pools ?

Anyone know what the tv stations are like , is there a variety? (hubs most important vacation need)

Very familiar with the area. We go to Disney a lot and have always stayed at their resorts. Looking forward to spreading out relaxing by the pool some. Catching up on books and rest. AWAY FROM THE WORK PHONE. Going to movies at Westside. Eating at our favorite Disney places.
We usually take our 20's age kids and their girlfriends, so hoping it is just the two of us this time.

Appreciate any Bonnet creek info and tips

1. There is food available, like sandwiches and pizza, but no sit-down style restaurant. (I guess you can sit down at the pool bar and eat) There is also a small store/gift shop. They are kind of pricey, but there if you need them. We always eat elsewhere or in our room.

2. When you check in you can request an area to stay. All the towers are close to pools, but the newest pool has a theme like an old castle and we like to stay near it. They seem to be accommodating. Just ask.

3. They ask for your license plate number when you check in, so write it down before heading inside.

4. After you check in and get your keys, you will be sent to a nearby counter to get your parking pass. There they will asked for some information and, depending on your income, they will invite you to a time-share presentation and offer some Disney dollars or something to lure you in. If you are tempted to go to a time-share presentation, please don't sign anything unless you do A LOT of research first.

5. There are plenty of channels, including HBO, ESPN and the Travel Channel. There is also a DVD player in the room and you can rent DVDs in the main lobby or bring your own.

6. If you have a lot of stuff, pull up to the entrance of your tower, go inside and get a luggage cart, then unload.

7. Have fun!

The new Escudos pool bar has a slightly expanded menu---sandwiches, wraps, salads, a few might have been hot. There won't be a "real" restaurant in the Wyndham cluster until the hotel opens.
