Yesterday was my 60 day mark for booking Bonnet Creek for the reduced price through Ken Price. He has been so wonderful to deal with. We are so glad we found his name on here. So thanks everyone!!!
Now next question, we have the option of doing a 3 bdrm suite, or a 2 bdrm fireworks view room! There is 4 of us going, DH, DD 7, & DD 8. I am wondering from everyone that has stayed here, which would you choose. 3 bdrm or 2 bdrm fireworks view? Thanks in advance for your responses!!

There isn't a huge difference in living space between them, and both have two baths (though the 2nd bath in the 3BR has double sinks outside the commode/shower area).

Unless your daughters work best not sharing a room, I'd go with the 2BR and take the view. The second BR there has two doubles, so they wouldn't be sharing a bed, just a room.

Brian, I was hoping you would respond. My daughters have no problem sharing, as they are best friends. Odd, I know. I was thinking the same thing! Do you get a good view of the fireworks? Is it just Epcots fireworks you can see? Or anyone elses as well?

We just went thru the rebooking with Ken too. Just one other thing for you to consider. I don't think they guarantee the exact rooms. You can put the request in and it seems like they try to accomodate it but there is a possibility that you would not get the view.

Brian, what do you think?

My cousin and I have dealt with Ken Price many times and he is great! He is very considerate and will get you the best deal he can.

I believe Ken is a Plat VIP. They are supposed to be able to reserve specific units at booking time as a perk of their ownership status. I suppose it's possible that it is not guaranteed, but this would be a question for Ken.

I'm a VIP Plat and am supposed to be able to book specific rooms, but I only get my specific room about 1/2 the time. Also, it's my understanding that once the reservation is out of the name of the owner all owner VIP perks are gone (i.e. room request, newspaper, etc). That said Bonnet Creek is very accommodating and they try to honor specified rooms. The problem is that if a patron is staying more than a week and they are already in the room that is specifically reserved for you, Wyndham will not make them move (I believe that they legally can't force them to change rooms).

Dr. Noble?? Is this the same Brian Noble who used to teach music at Mount Allison University in New Brunswick? If so, Hi! I used to babysit for you. Hope you are doing well! Joanne

Could someone please post the web site to contact Ken at?

Thank you

Thanks for all the responses. I think I will go with the 2 bdrm. Ken said I could still get a fireworks view with a 3 bdrm, but there just isn't as many of them. SO instead of taking my chances, I will book my 2 bdrm. I am so looking forward to Bonnet Creek, I hope I am not disappointed.

I had a specific room reserved for at Bonnet Creek when I made the reservation through Wyndham but when I arrived in August, the resort had no record of it.

They were able to accomodate me in getting a fire works view. They also showed me what information they receive once the reservation is sent to them from Wyndham.

They suggested that I call in advance and put in room requests then two weeks before check-in make sure your info is still in the system..

They even put in my request for a room I had booked in January last December.

So call.................

Same here. I booked a 2BR last week. I called BC direct and made my request for a fireworks/lake view in building 1 or 2. The lady was very helpful and recommended that I call back 1 to 2 weeks before I arrived just to make sure. :goodvibes

Hi guys,
So I didn't take the upgrade to a 3 bdrm, did the 2 bdrm instead. Because we are doing an 8 night stay, it had to go into 2 ressies. So we actually have the 3 bdrm the first night, and the 2 bdrm for the next 7 nights. The reason for the 3 bdrm the first night, is Ken said they will want to move me out of a 3 bdrm, so they can rent it out, which will enable me to get a better 2 bdrm. He put in a request for a 2 bedroom fireworks view. Right now it looks like Tower 2, and the room was 626, I believe. I could be wrong on the room number. The nice thing is we are there Feb 5th, and Ken will be there Jan 21st for a week, so just before us. He is going to make sure before he leaves he checks our ressie, and that we have a good room set up.
Ken has been wonderful to deal with, I encourage anyone that is looking into staying at Bonnet Creek to go through him. He has been nothing but professional to deal with.
Looking forward to a wonderful stay at Bonnet Creek!

I've been impressed with what I've read on this thread and will recommend Ken to friends. I usually get better deals on ebay for myself, but I'm always hesitant to recommend that to others because you can't guarantee how it will work out for sure (although I've never had a problem). I always hate to hear how friends or family coop themselves up in an over-priced hotel room when they can have so much more, and with Bonnet Creek you get the best of both worlds (condo space that is basically onsite at off-site rental prices)! :goodvibes

I agree with you 100%. When Disney came out with the 4/3 deal, I actually sat and crunched numbers. It would have still cost me more in the long run. On top of the fact, that I like my kids going to a seperate bedroom to go to sleep, and we can have some, very sought after quiet time. I love my kids to death, but I just need that half hour at night to wind down, without anyone fighting, or talking for that matter. I have never stayed at Bonnet Creek, last year we did a 4 bdrm house, and it was just too big for us, and we wanted something more resort type this year.
Ken has been wonderful, and I would recommend him to anyone.
Anyone know much about tower 2, and what is around it? Is it a good one to be in?

Based on the research I did, Towers 1 and 2 seem to be great choices. They have excellent fireworks/lakeviews and are not near the construction noise.

I am an owner at Bonnet Creek, and we there in August 2008. We stayed in Room 626, but it was in Tower #1. If you are in Tower #2, the room numbers would be 631 thru 646. The 2-BR units that have a fireworks view (and lakeview) would be #632, 634 & 636. You probably have unit #636. But, if you have unit #626, I could send you interior pictures.

How were your fireworks views? Could you see them pretty well? Thanks! :goodvibes

Looking at your room numbers reminds me, I asked for fireworks view, but I probably need to add a request for a high floor too when I call back! ::yes::

Would 626 be a fireworks view? I would love to see your pics. It could be very possible it is 636 and I just misheard him. I wasn't overly concerned about the number itself! How are the fireworks views?
