Bonnet Creek without a car?

Has anyone stayed at Bonnet Creek without a car? How is their shuttle service?

I posted all the shuttle times from our April trip in another post. It's regular (every hour or so), but it's one bus per 2 parks which I think would make for a long ride.

We never used the shuttle - you can get really cheap car rentals in Orlando.
