Many folks are looking to rent at Bonnet Creek, and are hoping to get the best price possible. However, some apparent changes in the Wyndham reservation system make some owners' business models risky. When you are renting, be sure you are renting from a very reputable source, even if it costs a few more dollars.
Here's the short version: owners with a substantial number of points purchased directly from Wyndham are in the "VIP program." One of the perks for VIP owners is the ability to book rooms at a substantial discount at 60 or fewer days prior to check-in.
Many VIP owners who rent as a side business will book a unit well in advance and, once they get in to the 60-day window, will try to cancel the reservation and immediately re-book it to take advantage of their VIP discount. That used to be quite reliable, but many Wyndham owners are now reporting that they are "losing" units and not able to re-book them after they are canceled.

Combine this with several different DISers reporting that Bonnet Creek reservations were "lost" for one reason or another, and it leads me to believe that some BC renters have units they have booked and rented, but later lost due to the Cancel/Rebook trick.
So, if you are shopping for a Bonnet Creek rental, it might be worth going with someone with a solid history and strong *recent* rentals vs. saving a few dollars. I'm a Wyndham owner but always use my points for our own vacations, so I'm neither a renter nor a landlord. I don't have a dog in this fight either way. But, if you *are* renting, please be careful!
