We traded into Bonnet Creek, do we get any maid service? Also, are there certain buildings that we are placed in?

And the prime spots were kept for owners. (not here specifically, but as swappers in general) So I am always aware and check out the unit we get first before I move all our stuff in.

Thanks.
We've only owned Wyndham for a couple of years and have only done a few exchanges via RCI, but our experiences have all been good. Our most recent exchange was last December into a 2 bedroom at DVC's Old Key West, where we got exactly the specific building and view (on the canalI'm not of fan of RCI. We have had it for 20 years and the only place we seem to be able to swap into is Florida. There was a scandal a couple years ago that explained this. RCI was renting instead of putting places in to swap. There were many times we just lost weeks due to expiration.
...I always read in many reviews that had to do with RCI swappers, that we seem to get the run down units, or the less desired areas. And the prime spots were kept for owners. Has any other swappins had any of these experiences??? Is any of this true??![]()
) we had requested.Lots of great WDW info here on the DIS!Glad I found this forum for some great info. The hunt to fix the motion sensor AC led me here!! Got some great tipsThanks.
How do u fix AC sensor?
I did exactly what you suggested and combined some weeks we would be losing and ended up with trading power of 60. I still don't understand exactly how that works. OTher than nicer resorts you need more points available. Different that when we started with RCI way back when. My daughter was 2. Now she is 22 and will be going to the food and wine festival with me at epcot!!! You guys that still have young kids, enjoy them with all the grief that accompanies children!
so I can't track them back to re-read the tips.Just so you know, you can get DVC with 60 just about any time of the year...usually less, and of course a 1 BR or Studio would be less.Thank you JimMIA for that info.I did exactly what you suggested and combined some weeks we would be losing and ended up with trading power of 60.
I don't know all the ins and outs either, but I know exchanges are a constantly moving target and RCI has to adjust with the rest of the industry. The days of a week anywhere for a week anywhere else have been over for a while.I still don't understand exactly how that works. OTher than nicer resorts you need more points available. To exchange regularly, we have to invest a little research time and stay current. TUG is a great place to do that.
As for that pesky parking pass desk- I read to park at WBC you don't even need that parking pass. Can you confirm so I don't get my car towed
without it??
The parking pass is a useless piece of junk. Last time I was at WBC, I got it, but left it in the room and never did put it in the car. It will not get you in the gate (room key is required).Thank you JimAs for that pesky parking pass desk- I read to park at WBC you don't even need that parking pass. The only purpose for it is to put you face to face with the timeshare sales weasels.
Incidentally, at WBC they sometimes come unannounced to your room with "welcome gifts." If that happens to you, do NOT let them in your room. If you do, they will not leave.
I have a built in safeguard. Hubby is not with us this trip, and they have a thing about wives only!!!! That has gotten me out of many a presentation when I went to disney to watch my daughter dance HS and college dance teams at the Milkhouse.
Did you go on your trip yet? Wondering what you think of it.OK! But I do like FREE gifts!!I have a built in safeguard. Hubby is not with us this trip, and they have a thing about wives only!!!!
