Hello. So it looks like we will be doing offsite this trip. Debating between these two options. We are a family of 5 (2 adults and a 17, 12, 13)going in July.. Looks like I can get either of these for around 125 a night or so.. So it boils down to would you prefer a great breakfast and happy hour(embassy) or more resort amenities that bonnet creek gives you. I have only stayed offsite once 5 years ago at embassy... Never been to bonnet creek..although it looks very nice. Any opinions? Thanks.

I've stayed at both. You get much more space to spread out at bonnet creek and 2 bathrooms. Although the embassy rooms are bigger than a standard hotel, they are small compared to a 2BR at Bonnet Creek.

The breakfast is great, but it does eat up more time than you might think. Is your family big breakfast eaters? In the heat of summer, I prefer a light breakfast, lunch and a big dinner, but you may be different.

For a short trip of a couple of days, I would consider embassy. For a longer trip, I find bonnet creek far more comfortable.

Since you are going in July, I would prefer the resort amenities at Bonnet Creek. They have a variety of pools, including a lazy river, that I would definitely utilize during the summer months. Like the PP stated, we would not be eating a big breakfast in the warm weather. Also, please be advised that Embassy Suites is now charging a parking fee of $12 per day.

Bonnet Creek. Much nicer than a hotel room and great pools…free putt putt as well. Most of the time I find the free breakfasts offered at the hotels are not filling or yummy. Just run by a grocery and pick up some snacks and breakfast foods. You will have a full size kitchen at Bonnet Creek.

I think you pretty much need to answer this on your own as you already have the information. Do you want a great free breakfast and room cleaning everyday but give up how close you are to the park, size and other amenities or do you want to be more in the thick of things more room but having to do cleaning and breakfast on your own. Everyone will have a different opinion. I will say that I would check that embassy price and make sure it includes all taxes and fee because 125 seems cheap for them.
