Has anyone stayed here on Halloween? Do they do fun things with the kids? We will arriving on Halloween and my kids are disappointed they will be missing halloween. Mostly my 9 year old. I have heard DTD is a nightmare that night and should be avoided. Any advice?

Who told you to avoid downtown disney? It's crowded, but they had free shows and even some free candy. Lots of people in costume. Great people watching. I enjoyed it.

I saw a thread over in the rumor board about the possibility of no trick or treating at DTD this year. I didn't read the thread though so I don't know if the rumor has any basis in fact though.


What time are you arriving on Halloween? Have you considered maybe looking into going to the MK for MNSSHP?

We typically went to Orlando for Halloween until the local school board moved our Fall break, so it has been a few years. We enjoyed the Sea World Halloween weekends. We also visited Downtown Disney and I don't recall it being that crowded. Lots of things going on.

The year we stayed at Sheraton Vistana, they had activities, though they were more oriented to the older kids and adults.
