We are staying a week at BC 12/12. I just received a message saying that they were able to up upgrade us from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom suite. We only have 4 adults and 1- 3 year old going with us. She will sleep with us, so the 3rd room really isn't needed. What are the differences between the 2 rooms? I saw a floor map and saw a 2 BR has a balcony, but didn't see it on a 3BR. Do they both have balconies? Can you get a 3 BR fireworks view room? Are 3 BR located throughout the resort or just in 1 building. I just want to make sure this is truly an "upgrade" for us. TIA.

I've only stayed in two bedrooms there so I'm not the best person to answer. I'm wondering though if the living area is larger? That would be worth it to me to have a three bedroom.

We love Bonnet Creek!

Have an awesome trip!

Hi,
I have actually stayed in both. We had the chance for the 3 bdrm upgrade, and were staying 8 nights. Because there were only the 4 of us originally (2 adults, 2 kids) we turned it down, because the chances of getting a 3 bdrm with fireworks view are harder to get, it is possible but harder. Anyhow, my sister, and her hubbie decided last minute to join us and we had already turned down the 3 bdrm, but we had the 3 bdrm for the first night, so we could get into the 2 bdrm fireworks view for the rest of our week. I regretted turning down the 3 bdrm after moving into the 2 bdrm, and my sister and hubbie joined us. It just felt crowded after that. It was do able though. ONe bdrm had 2 double beds, and the other the king.
You should be ok, being that there is only the 4 of you, plus child. You will have a much better chance of the fireworks view in a 2 bdrm. The reason it was crowded for us, is we gave my sis and bro the king bed, and we slept with our kids in the dbl beds, and they are 7 & 8, and kicked us all night. So the extra space would have been wonderful. Good luck, Bonnet Creek is beautiful.

I was afraid of that! I don't think I have the option of going back to a 2 bedroom. The owner just said he upgraded me and I was excited and then I started thinking more and more about it. Oh well. I guess I will just hope for the best. Anyone know when they do room assignments and how to better my chances for a fireworks view? When should I call and who should I talk to?

Not sure which bonnett creek your talking about but I stayed at the wyndam timeshare and one and had the 3 bed top floor view of fireworks facing swan and dolphin.

We've had three bedroom fireworks view rooms also. I usually send an email to Wyndham Bonnet Creek about - 2 weeks prior to check in. I asked the first time we went and that is what they told me to do. They don't have names and checkin dates until that time. To be on the safe side, I would get your request in right at the two week mark.

Your chances of getting a fireworks view are greater with a 2-bedroom unit. The majority of the units at Bonnet Creek are 2-bedrooms. There are fewer 3-bedrooms. Half of the 3-bedrooms would not have fireworks views.
As far as I know, every unit (1-BR thru 4-BR) has a balcony. On one of our stays at BC, we did not have a fireworks view. So what did we do? We got on the elevator and went up to the top floor of our building. At the elevator waiting area there are windows from which you can see the fireworks.
And BTW, although you can see the fireworks from BC, they are still quite a distance from the resort, so they are not as spectacular as they would be if seen from within the parks. So, IMHO, it's not really a big deal for me whether I get a fireworks view or not.

Hi greenclan67,

I'm debating whether to get a 2BR or a 3BR. We have four kids, ages 6,8,10 & 12. I was really wondering whether the double beds in the 2BR are large enough for 2 kids each? (I'd rather not use sofa pull-out bed - were you thinking of doing this and why didn't you? Did you try it out and it was uncomfortable? - that's my concern).

thanks!

Can I ask if in the 3 bedroom units at least 2 of the bedrooms have 1 beds in them?

The 2 bedroom units have 2 doubles beds in the 2nd room and my sister really only wants one bed in her room to save the space.

Thanks!

Master bedroom: 1 king bed.
Bedroom #2: 1 queen bed.
Bedroom #3: 2 double beds.
Living room: 1 queen sofabed.

Hi, I have stayed in both as well. I agree that the two bedroom there would be a better chance of the fireworks view because of the number of them. However, I did get a fireworks view with the three bedroom (not quite as good) but I would get the 3 br again in a heartbeat. We were only a family of four. However, the bathroom was better in the 3br and I was sick one night and moved into the 3rd br. Then DD was sick and moved in there. So unless you are really big infor the fireworks which are at 9 every night (kids were already asleep) I would go for the 3. br in a hearbeat.

Well, half of the 2-bedroom units wouldn't either. Sure, there are more 2BRs than 3BRs that do, but there are also more people staying in those 2BRs, and so potentially more asking for the same thing.

Honestly, with the OP's travel party, I would take the 3BR in a heartbeat. Put the three year old in her own room so that everyone can have a little more privacy; you'll enjoy it! If I had the same group, I'd rather have a 3BR facing some other direction than a 2BR facing the Epcot side.
