Has anyone eaten at Bongo's? DH is dying to go the next time we are there. I haven't read any recent reviews of it and would like some opinions before we go. Of course, I know that the opinions will be varied. If you don't mind, please state what you did or didn't like about it and how you found the prices. Any other information would be welcome. What exactly is Cuban cuisine? Any menu suggestions?

we love Bongos it is a must do everytime.the prices are not that bad the last time we ate there was last september and we took my sister to eat with us while the rest of the family done there thing they did not think they would like the food.but we all 3 ate for 70.00 and we all had a mixed drink with our meal,so i dont consider that being a bad price at all.we love the food.

We really enjoy eating at Bongos too. The price is not bad, the food is good, and we have always received great service. I know that some people have really bashed this restaurant, but we have always enjoyed it.

You can check the menu out easily, but I've heard some comment that the cusine isn't terribly "authentic".
We've done lunch there 3 times. Food pretty good, good beer selection also. Service is "young/hip"--that is, the servers are often more interested in dancing and entertaining themselves than they are waiting on you...

We had a great dinner with great service there in late February, and the price couldn't be beat!
