BONGOS Cuban - How to get advaced seating?

I called Disney Dining and they told me they do not take advanced seating for Bongos Cuban. They gave me their phone number to call.

Anyone make an advanced reservation there and if so how far ahead were you able to make it?

They do not take reservations, it's a walk up only. When we were there in March 2005, they opened at 4pm and I raced over ahead of the rest of our group there to get a table for us, but I was unable to get a table until our whole party was there. I was told they don't do reservations. By then, my parents decided they didnt' want to walk all the way over there and I had to make my way back to Earl of Sandwich (which was great). We ate at Bongos Nov 2003 and we loved it.

No advanced seating for Bongo's, but I've never had to wait long for a table. I was there in (I think) early December and we were seated immediately around 6:30 pm.
