Bongos Cafe

I plan to have dinner at Bongos Cafe after our 6PM Cirque de Soleil show. I called Disney Dining and they do not book reservations for Bongos. Do I need a reservation? If so, I'm thinking I can call the restaurant directly - how far in advance should I call?

We walked right in last August during free dining on a Friday night without a problem - I don't think you'll have a problem.
