So what are you all up to tomorrow?

There are lots of fireworls going off overhead tonight! I don't think there is an organised event in my village this year which is a shame as it's usually good fun :(

We are having a bonfire (OK being slightly scared of fire we are burning wood in out insinorator bin!!) which we will grill sausages on sticks over! Then we are letting off a load of fireworks. We have a huge field next to our house and the neighbours tend to pool their fireworks and set them off on the field so everyone can enjoy them. This year DH wants to set them to music!!

We are going to a "Murder" and are having firworks with a BBQ before the dinner and murder start.

Should we call the police ;)

We went to a display yesterday with some friends (yes, it was in the pouring rain! ). There are supposed to be about 7,000 people attending the University of Bath's fireworks display tonight - so I think we will be giving that one a miss!

I find the same problem every year, though. After being to WDW and seeing Disney's fireworks, nothing else even compares!

Dana's DH is aiming high though! I hope you will be charging entry Dana with fireworks and music!

But yes I have to agree after you've experienced Wishes, Illuminations and the like it is hard to compare UK ones, but I do try and just take them for what they are ans enjoy them :)

If the weather is nice ( not raining) we will be going to friends for a firework Party :)

I will be at home, with the curtains closed and the TV very loud cuddling my two very, very, scared dogs :dog2: and my sons will be standing out in the field trying to keep my 3 ponies calm.

I wish the law stated there were only organised firwork displays allowed. As people seem to buy fireworks and let them off a month before until a month after nov 5th. Nearby neightbours also seem to have a poblem letting them off stright up and their fireworks always seem to go off horizontally and over my house / fields :confused3

Sounds fantastic ~ anyone we know ;)

:) There are lots of firework displays around my house so if it's not raining or blowing a gale then we may venture out, although my Poor dog and cat are terrified so i'll have to see how it goes :)

We are off to my friend's tonight as she lives opposite a school which has a good display. We will stay in her front room have a drink and watch the fireworks hopefully without getting wet!!!!

Have a great time everyone.

Unfortuantely, i am working, but the good side is that i will patroling around a large display, i have asked my collegues not to throw me on.

We went to a fantastic display last night, bumped into some friend not seen for a while so that was great.

We were going to a local display at a sports club near where we live, but at the last minute changed our minds and went to a display at the local Caterpillar factory (the diggers not the litted wriggly things :) ).

There was tons of parking and a small fun fair :)

Strangly though, there was no bonfire - could be becasue it had be raining previously :)

The fireworks started a just gone 7pm and we were still going at almost 8pm! You couldn't criticise the quantity :) Although there were sometimes long pauses between fireworks. In the end we were so cold and our feet and legs were beginning to set - so we called it a night before they had finished - god knows how long they went on for LOL

We had a fantastic night last night. Went through to Edinburgh, watched the fireworks and then had a lovely meal. Had a few glasses of wine to warm me up after the display because I was soooooooo cold LOL!
