Bone in Tuna Salad

My mom made pasta with tuna salad tonight which I LOVE!!!!
I took a bite and felt something sharp in my mouth.....


IT WAS A BONE!!!!!
I am now so grossed out that I'm not finishing what I had in my bowl.

Has this ever happened to anybody else?

A friend of mine claimed to have found a bunch of scales in canned tuna, back in high school. That pretty much grossed me out.

EWWWWW. Isn't there a DIS rule to not eat tuna?

If you've ever toured a tuna cannery you'll realize it is amazing that more foreign objects aren't canned along with the fish.

Commercial canneries process stuff quickly with automated equipment. It not like there are 400 Grandma's with boning knives cleaning, filleting, and carefully packing the can full of fish.

When I was in school we toured a StarKist plant, it was a long time before I ate tuna again.
