I haven't been able to find Bonamine up here in Canada for quite a while now, even through the pharmacy I was working at and their suppliers. I have even tried calling the online pharamcies and nothing. Has anyone found something similar up here, or is there somewhere you can order Bonine (the US version as far as I can tell)? :confused3

I believe t hey no longer make it....I used to use it all the time at sea.

I think Gravol might be similar check out the active ingredients. My husband had the same problem when we moved to the US. Nobody here had heard of Gravol which is so common in Canada.

I was able to get some last September before we went to Mexico, but have not looked since then. I sure hope they still make it. I get the worst motion sickness. When I was preg with my son 14 yrs ago, I was in and out of the hospital for dehydration etc and they kept giving me gravol and it made me feel worse so since then I have been scared to take it when my stomach is upset. Bonamine has been what i have used since, but to tell you the truth I am not sure if the ingred's are the same as gravol I have never looked.... Could have been my hormones etc that made the gravol have the opposite on me..

I was told by my pharmacist that it is discontinued. I don't know what I am going to use for my cruise in August now. Gravol makes me far too sleepy to function.

There is a form of Gravol that you can buy that is non drowsy but I'm not sure how effective it is. I think one of the main ingredients is ginger which I keep reading about being good for fighting nausea. That you could get in a pharmacy but if you go to a vitamin store you could ask them about getting something with ginger in it.

Yes - Gravol brand has a non-drowsy ginger form - I've used it several times when flying over the last year and in the car because the regular makes me 'foggy' and sleepy. This one worked great and I wasn't foggy or tired at all. Bought mine at Walmart - actually found it in the check-out aisle, but it's with the other kind in the pharmacy section as well. Shoppers Drug Mart sells it too.
