Bon Voyage how long?

How long should we plan to spend at Bon Voyage breakfast? Our ressie is for 7:40, large party, and are hoping we might make it to Epcot for opening. Is this reasonable? We will be walking to the IG and will have little ones.

We had a 10am for 6 people, did not rush, and got out right at 11am. Unless your party is truly huge, I wouldn't figure it should take much more than an hour, especially that early. I have no idea how long the walk takes to the IG. I would make sure everyone uses the restroom towards the end of the meal so you don't have to spend extra time doing that before you walk over. You can also ask to pay the bill earlier in the meal if you're worried.

Thanks! I know some meals, people wait an hour just for the characters so didn't know if this one was bad. From threads here, I plan on it taking 10-15 minutes to walk to IG.
However, I also remember a meal where we got ressies at opening for dinner and waited forever for them to seat all the other people who had ressies at opening. They open at 7:30 so wonder how many others will be waiting to be seated. We are chancing no FP for Soarin' (to get FEA) so hoping to get first in line!

We ate at 12 restaurants on our trip a couple of weeks ago, including 5 character meals and they all took just about an hour from our ADR time. The only exceptions were CRT at 1.5 hrs, Hoop Dee Doo at 2 hrs (normal), and Trails End at nearly 2 hrs. Characters at all meals came by early in the meals so hopefully you have the same luck.

Also, for what it's worth, both days we spent at Epcot, Soarin had a 25-30 min wait around 10-11, and less right before Illuminations. I didn't check any other times.
