Just booked our first ADR and its a character breakfast at Trattoria al Forno for 7:45am and i have a few questions.

  1. Where can i park as we will be driving from a offsite hotel?
  2. We plan on going to Epcot after should we walk to the park if so how long is the walk (pretty fit young couple) and what entrance does walking bring us too?
  3. If i can park at the restaurant can i also leave my car there till the park closes?

If I were you, I would park at Hollywood Studios and walk over to The Boardwalk. This will take 10 to 15 minutes. Then after breakfast walk over to Epcot and you will enter through the International Gateway. This is between France and The UK pavilions. I would then make my way to Future World and work your way back through the park to World Showcase as the day gets later and then walk back out of IG past The Boardwalk to your car at HS to end your day. This way you will not have to move your car since you cannot park it at The Boardwalk resort for the entire day. I would only recommend this because you said you are a fit couple. This walk is our favorite on property and The Boardwalk area is really nice at night all lit up.

Thank you so much, if our adr is at 745am what time should be parking up ?

We both aren’t morning people so we are slightly regretting this very early adr especially on our first full day

We went there during the busy-ness of Princess run weekend. Drove to BW, scanned bands so they saw we had an adr and we parked. So that park is very likely fine.

If you drive there, ask about where you should park after. Some people have been told of a 3 hour time limit. Others haven’t (or haven’t at other resorts). Let the guard tell you what to do.

You could just pay for valet parking and leave the car all day. You could drive to the parking for the park. Or you could be told something else by the guard.

Budget for valet or themepark parking (whichever is higher) and see what they say.

Enjoy the breakfast! We thought it was decent and with good service.

Have you thought about doing the very late breakfast (which could actually be lunch) and exiting out the International Gateway to eat, and then going back in? You could sleep in a bit then, and be assured to make rope drop.

If you park at 720 you should make it in plenty of time.

It is a very short walk to the Epcot International gate entrance, which enters the park between France and the UK. I believe you may be able to keep your car there all day if you valet park. I know it isn't cheap, though.

I would not park at HS that makes zero sense to do. You can easily park at the Boardwalk Resort and walk to your reservation. You can walk to the International Gateway from the Boardwalk but you will be in World Showcase so there will be a bit of a walk to the front of the park and IMO if thats your family's first time to EPCOT you lose out on the feeling you get going through the front.

For reference I just ate at Bon Voyage on 3/24, parked at the boardwalk. We then went to HS after and drove there (we get free parking though)

For parking I always use the mantra "what will i be willing to walk or wait for after a long day in the park". If you will end your day in world showcase keeping your car at the boardwalk all day probably makes sense. But I would repark my car at EPCOT if I were you
