Bomb threat at my school

Ok I am so scared. There has been a bomb threat at MY SCHOOL!!!!!!!!! Somebody wrote a letter dated tomorrow so now the FBI will be there tomorrow and everything. Its so scary I cried when I found out because I go to a really good private school and the school has always felt so safe to me and now its not as safe.

We had a gun threat in like early September and I felt the same exact way as you...my school (private school) has only about 350 students so its really small. It was the first time it has happened to me so I was extremely freaked out.

but you probably go to a public school with a mass amounts of students...when you go to a small private school its different.

I'm so happy they are. Its making me feel A LOT safer going to school tomorrow. Things like this never happen at my school, kids get expelled for bullying!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing will happen. Just don't think about it and don't let it effect you.

I can't count the number of times I've been evacuated from school or held in lock-down for similar reasons.

OK, maybe I can. Here's to thinking hard.

There was the bomb-threat in September (some Freshman being dumb).
There was the gun threat last April (a Senior hopped up on cocaine).
There was the drug dog search last March.
There was the time somebody lit a trashcan in the girl's bathroom on fire while smoking a joint last January.
There were the bomb threats in November and October of 2007.

But beyond that, I can't remember. And, oddly enough, I go to one of the "best" high schools in the state.

Just gotta say because I hate it when people generalize like this, that the worst school in the area for stuff like this is a private academy one town over.

We're talking vandalism (of my school's property and their own), bomb threats, gun threats, and what's pretty much a brothel in one of the dorms.

If I've learned one thing about private schools (and yes, I attended them) it's just that the kids that go there have bigger power trips and more money to buy better drugs and do stupider things.

You just did a generalizaton too. I go to private school and I'm NOT rich, dont do drugs, and I dont do stupid things. None of my friends do drugs either and my friends (and me) are not stupid. Theres only one kid in my class that is REALLY rich, everyone else is middle class. I go to private school because my public district stinks.

The school district where I live has servere drug and alcohol problems and I go to private school to escape that. I dont want to go to a school where I'm trying to escape things and only get worse things

Its not always the case...here in the north part NJ we act better than the public school kids in my area. We get judged more than the public school kids too. Like if they heard a kid in a school uniform curse, they would say that there school is terrible, but if a public school kid curses it wouldnt make a difference to them. So we feel like we have to act better because everyone's expectations are so high. Like my town's public school they have a joke where it is hard to find more than 10 kids in the school that dont smoke pot. For my school its the opposite, its hard to find 10 that do.

We have had a few. The second week of school we had one. We went into lock down for 3 periods. They didn't even tell us what was going on and our parents were calling us and texting us like crazy. A few days before there was a shooting at my rival school South. They got to go home early.
