I am hopeful from all this PI will once again require ID checks and entry fees.

Hear, hear - that would remove the local downscale pond scum and return PI to what it was supposed to be - a fantasy land of decent adult nature evening entertainment.

And if they understand anything about the value of brand equity, that will include not letting their reputation continue to get damaged by stupid prior decisions - such as letting PI become a magnet for underage drinkers and gang types.

Not to minimize the seriousness of any bomb, but the abduction of the couple in Downtown Disney in June was much more troubling than this event.

Not to minimize the seriousness of any bomb, but the abduction of the couple in Downtown Disney in June was much more troubling than this event.

The alleged victims would not take a lie detector test, they would not help a police artist draw the alleged abductors and they said they would not prosecute if there were arrests. Prior to that police in NY told a local Orlando television station that one of the victims was a known druggie up there. That was rescinded the next day, mysteriously. Prior to that there was skepticism by myself and others that someone planning a robbery and kidnapping would ever select the Downtown Disney parking lot as a place to attempt such a thing.

Bottom line, there are serious questions that there really ever was a kidnapping or if there was, there were other things going on too.

I don't balme them at all. I wouldn't have wanted to spend my WDW vacation dealing with the cops. I mean come on, they lied about the victim being a druggie, and WDW trying to make like it didn't happen. If it were me, I would stop cooperating as well.

Oh, so Channel 6 was in on making up the druggie story, huh? And you're saying that if you had been kidnapped, beaten up and/or shot at you wouldn't help the police try to catch the people? OMG. And I don't recall WDW ever denying that this didn't happen. The large increase in security and sheriff's deputies at DD speaks otherwise. There are others (such as me) expressing skepticism.
