Bomas???

We just made a ps for breakfast here it's the same cost as a character breakfast? I was wondering why its so high and is it worth it.

Boma is a buffet, as are most of the other character breakfasts at WDW. I think it is the fact that they are buffets, not just character meals that make them cost what they do. Boma is our families favorite breakfast (well, it is tied with our other favorite, Fresh at the Dolphin). I think it is worth the price charged. The "frunch" (a wonderful fruit juice combination) is wonderful! There are some interesting offerings, as well as standard breakfast fare, so most everyone should find something they like at this buffet. A side benefit of eating here, is a trip out to view the animals in one of the public viewing areas at AKL.

well, i am probably the only one on these boards that was not "blown away" by this breakfast. we were disappointed in it. we were not staying at AKL and did not have a car. for all the effort it took to get to the lodge, it was just not worth it. (please do not roast me over this.)

I have to disagree with DQ, it is one of the best if not the best B-fast's on the property. It has the best omlette station I have ever been to. A great carving station also.

Best breakfast buffet in WDW. I would say it's definitely worth the money. Fantastic selection of food , better than at other buffets and as was already stated...take a walk and enjoy the animals. You can catch up with "characters" all around the parks.

Thanks I'm glad we made the ps, we are going to AK after breakfast should we still go look at the animals at the lodge or go to the park?

Wonderful!!!! Well worth the $$!! A new fave for mom & I. Maybe we will go back in December! Enjoy! One of the buffets in WDW, IMO!!
