we have eaten at Boma's loads of times and being a veggie I can confirm that it is an excellent place to eat..BUT and it is a BIG BUT.. make sure that you like cinnamon as the chefs seem to put it in everything...
They never used to do this but all of a sudden its there in huge quantities. But don't let this put you off. We complained to the cast member and she bought the chef to us and he did a wonderful meal specially for us. It was a night to remember and I can't ever remember eating so much. The chef really made that evening and we thanked him so much. He also walked us around to every food station and told us which items were def veggie and which ones did not have, to me, the most dreadful taste of cinnamon. Even the smallest taste/smell makes me feel ill..!!
So I would say just go there and eat till you drop...

I've always loved Boma and was not quite sure why other than I enjoyed the selection of so many things I had never tried before in addition to some great familiar foods. Now that you mention the veggies I realize that is part of the appeal for me. I'm a carnivore but I must also always have a good amount of veggies to be truly happy. And I love cinnamon, so no problem there for me! There is only one dish at Boma that I truly dislike - the bobotie.

Welcome to the disboards!
