I'm thinking of making ressies here. Anyone eaten the breakfast buffet recently? Will kids like it?

Not recently, but we did eat there in January. We ALL (DH, me, DS-15, DS-11, DD-9, DS-3, and DD-22 months) loved the breakfast at Boma. There was a wide selection to choose from, and everything I tried was delicious. Our kids loved the french toast and fresh pastries. Dh had a huge made-to-order omelet that he really enjoyed. One item I thought seemed unusul on a breakfast menu was roasted pork loin -- it was great. There was also some lamb sausage, as well as the traditional breakfast meats. I would definately reccommend breakfast at Boma :D !

Let me know if I can answer any other questions-

We were there this past November and we loved it- my girls were 10 months at the time and they are quite a bit of the breakfast foods. It has a great selection and you can talk to the chefs - I had an omelette made special for me since I have food allergies. Try it!

Awesome as usual. Everyone liked it, even M-I-L. Since we were only at WDW for 2 days, I asked cast member if we could have a zebra dome, as we wouldn't be able to get back for dinner, and sure enough, she went back to the kitchen and grabbed one for us!!!

I love that place. Any meal anytime. It's one of the best values in the World. And definitely is the most consistent with quality food and service, as far as I'm concerned.

We ate breakfast at Boma, this past November. It is excellent!!!

Thank you all for the wonderful replies. You've convinced me! I'm calling for ressies.:D :D :D

We will be there in Feb -- What is a Zebra Dome?

I agree. . . what is a Zebra Dome. We will be staying at the AKL in Nov. Is the breakfast expensive? Does the AKL have any place for an inexpensive quick box of cereal or fruit cup?? Thanks!

I wouldn't exactly call it inexpensive, but I think Mara is the kind of place you're asking about. It is a kind of food court. They did have milk, cereal, fruit, and juices, among other things.

We didn't eat breakfast there, but did have lunch there on our first day. It was pretty good, as these types of places go ;) .

We JUST got back form AKL, and we ate almost every breakfast (except for the Cindy's;) ) there. In fact, we ate most dinners there too. For breakfast, the price is a bit steep, but the selection is good - omlets/eggs to order (or steam table) Roast Pork (EXCELLENT), Ham, Bacon, all the other usual stuff - My wife LOVED the French Toast - it's made with Rasin Bread! I tended towards a small amount of eggs (I love them, they don't love me), the Pork, a strip of bacon, and a bowl of Granola with some Yogurt. I also liked the "signature" juice mix - Never made a PS, never had to wait

I think that for DINNER, it's a much better choice - however, you WILL either need to go early, make a PS, or wait 35-45 minutes for a table. Being we have young kids, we went early most nights, and waited less than 10 minutes. Some interesting choices for people who are willing to try tings (Not really all that exotic - they could have gone wilder for me), and at the same time, choices for those who are picky eaters (kept my daughter happy, and she's pickier than DW)

That said, I didn't love the Zebra domes (their signature desert). They were OK - Now the Passion Fruit tarts with the Marangue (sp?) topping? THAT I loved

We WILL go back

Just to answer the question about Zebra Domes - they are a dessert served at the dinner buffet. Sort of a chocolate mousse on a crunchy chocolate crust covered in a sweet brown and white striped glaze. Yummy.

Can't wait til Feb. to eat my fair share of Zebra Domes -- they sound wonderful.

Is dessert included in the buffet or will I have to pay extra for this wonderful sounding dessert?
