Bomas - Breakfast or Dinner

We have so many restaurants we want to try on our next trip, that we will only be able to eat at Boma's once.

I know this is subjective, but do you prefer Boma's for breaksfast or dinner?

Our plan will either be Bomas for Breakfast and then head to AK.

Or AK in the afternoon and the Bomas for dinner.

We are only planning a half day at AK, as we will be hitting attractions we have missed in the past (FOTLK, Tarzan Rocks and Kali River Rapids) and It's Tough to Be a Bug - because we love that show. I know this sounds odd, but we are not really planning on seeing the animals! We spent so much time watching the animals we couldn't fit the shows in!

Dinner!
We've been for both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is very good but I love the dinner! All the different exotic foods to try, the kids love it too.

I wondered about that myself, since I have heard so many good things about Boma's but after looking at the menu, I opted for dinner because I love to try different things and the dinner menu has more variety.

I've been to both and I'd have to say that I'd vote for dinner. For me, there seems to be a greater variety of foods. I love all the different soups and salads they have. You also get to have zebra domes! Yum Breakfast is good too but they've got stuff that you can find at any breakfast buffet. They've got an omlete station, scrambled eggs, muffins, fruit etc. Its definitely more busy at dinner though.

We've tried both and like both of them. If we only did one it would be dinner. The dinner has a bigger variety of tastes and along with the soups and desserts you can't miss. If you like trying new things this is the place. While at AK if you have not seen Flights of Wonder this is a do not miss for our family.

We saw Flights of Wonder on our last trip, My DH was in the flight path of one of the birds of prey - felt the talons skim his hair!

We thought it was interesting and I love the Galahs!

I prefer dinner but did both this past trip! Breakfast has a TON of pastries and the normal stuff (pancakes, waffles, potatoes, etc).

most of the food you'll encounter at boma at breakfast is the same sort of food that you'll encounter at any breakfast buffet. there are a few different items but the vast majority is just regular breakfast food.

so i'd say go to dinner. there are a lot more unique and different items and desserts at dinner.

(of course you could do both breakfast and dinner at boma. we did that (not on the same day) on our recent stay at AKL).
