Dh and I always enjoy Boma. I especially like the corn and chicken soup. My 4 yo ds is not an adventurous eater, but he ate an entire bowl of this. My 12 yo ds loves to try new things. He was in heaven here last week. Everything is just a little bit different -- not too odd for the less adventurous but different from your standard fare. I love Park Faire (had great bread pudding and apple cobbler there last week, too) but I like the desserts (zebra domes, cocomisu, etc.) at Boma better.
Interestingly, I overead 2 people discussing Boma by the AKL pool. One person asked how the other liked Boma. The other answered, "I didn't care for it much. It's just your standard buffet food." In the next breath, the same person said, "All the foods were really wierd and different." Now, am I the only person who sees a problem with this criticism?
Kona is now my favorite WDW restaurant, but Boma runs a close second. For dh, Boma for breakfast or dinner is by far his favorite.
