just made ps for boma. we were just curious as to what kind of dinner food and desserts they have and will we like it? we decided to take a chance and try it since we are ataying at akl....

Boma's is nice, has alot of ginger in the food though. Some people don't like it others love it. I was one who loved it. Especially their hot chamomile (sp?) tea. It is a buffet, they have a childrens area with the usual, mac and cheese, etc that most places in disney offer. Salad bar with many different salads, fruits, bread area with if i recall correctly 3 different kinds of bread, a carving area with different meats, veggie area, desserts . Basically your avg. buffet with an African flare.
I would say if you are adventous go for it , if not don't.
hopes this helps some.

My family is extrememly fussy and we ALL loved Boma. My parents were with us this trip and every one in a party of six found something wonderful to eat. There truly is something for everyone here. There is a table with prime rib and chicken. My husband was thrilled because they had some meat that was cooked well -- he hates rare. It was deliciious. There were sauces on the side for the meat selection. Then there was a whole section of "American" food for kids and nervous adults -- nice chicken tenders, spaghetti and meatballs, mac and cheese, and little triangle peanut butter sandwiches that my kids devoured. Next came tables full of all kinds of vegetables and wonderful salads. Also wonderful soups and lots of bread, rolls and fresh fruits. We tried lots of new things and I really didn't taste anything that I "hated!" The waitress will bring a card for you to address if you want some of the recipes -- we asked for MANY! Don't even get me STARTED on the desserts -- so many to chose from. There was a cobbler, fruit tarts (so beautiful to look at as well as yummy), brownies for the kids. Zebra Domes (little plops of chocolate with kahlua-flavored mousse) and the coconut tiramisu were my favorites.

There is literally something for everyone. Can you tell I loved it? Don't miss a chance to taste these wonderful dishes!
