I just made breakfast reservations for Boma the morning we go to Animal Kingdom. How is the food? What about the atmosphere of the restaraunt? How close will I be to AK?

Boma was great for breakfast. we were right at opening time so of course everything was very fresh and not crowded. it's really close to AK, just minutes away-you have to take a bus though.

I really liked the chocolate chip danishes. they had some african flavors of course but they were just ok. I would surely go again but this time we're trying Tusker House in AK.

Absolutely wonderful! and my new favorite breakfast buffet :thumbsup2 Lot's of standard breakfast food, plus some African specialties. All of it is excellent! MickeyNicki has fantastic pics of the buffet in her reviews, just find one of her posts, the link is in her signature :goodvibes

As far as how far will you be from AK, only a few minutes.

We go there for at least one breakfast every trip. If you're a coffee lover-try the pressed pot!

Yum-yum Boma's:woohoo:
Absolutely loooved Boma's. My kids have asked that we go there again on our next trip. If you drive it takes about 5 minutes to get to AK.

never been for brekfast, have for dinner thou. its only about 5 mins away from AK, i really liked the resturant.

if your wanting to be close to AK, why not try doanld's breakfast safari, we really enjoyed that it was one of my fave resturant of the whole trip really great theming, and right outside of the safari!!

Thanks for the nod Chelle!

The food at Boma breakfast is incredible! We eat there on every trip and just love the heck out of it! Great atmosphere, we are usually so full when we leave that we sit upstairs in front of the fire pit to digest! :rotfl:

I have a ton of pics in all of my threads but the most recent is from last weekend...hope you go and enjoy it as much as we do!

We couldn't get Donalds and I wanted to visit a couple of the deluxe resorts to scope out my hopes for our next visit. We are going to visit the Beach Club, AKL, and GF.

Thanks for the nod Chelle!

I'm checking it our right now. I'm up to CP (another favorite of mine, but we are going for breakfast this year instead). Thanks!

You all have been very helpful. I have a hard time "venturing out" with my picky eaters. I thought Boma for breakfast would be a good choice--lots of "tried and trues" with some flair that maybe we can sneak in on the kids. The pressed pot coffee was an added plus.

Breakfast at Boma's was our favoritet this trip. We had an off day, and had an ADR for 10:30 am- the restaurant was EMPTY and the food was hot and fresh. My husband loved the pressed pot coffee. The pastries were very yummy, and the ham at the carving station was delicious.

So glad to hear all these good reviews. Breakfast here is highly anticipated by my family!! My DD16 - a non-breakfast person - can not wait to go here!

Boma is my favorite restaurant in all of WDW. I know you will enjoy.
