Hello All!

I wanted to get different opinions as to where to eat breakfast a day we go to Epcot. I originally picked 1900 because of the close proximity to Epcot. But I was still considering Boma. But it just seems so far out of the way just to go for breakfast. I haven't been to either place for breakfast but during this trip we are going to 1900 for dinner. So I was wondering if Boma was worth the extra travel over to AKL ... we are staying at POR. Thanks! :)

We did almost all the character breakfasts last year in march and stayed at akl this time in march and ate at Boma. My opinion... We paid 100.00 for breakfast at boma and hated it! I thought it was overrated and the food was gross.. with that said our favorite was 1900 park fair and the price was similar if not cheaper from what I remember and you get characters. The food was realllly good. I would also suggest Askerhaus in Epcot for Breakfast, potatoes were awesome. Again it was about the same price and it is character princess time there. I would go back to either of these again, which I always try to do something new. So I will never go back to boma for breakfast but suggest Askerhaus and 1900 Park Fare for a Epcot day. I also think the the commute from to AKL from Por will be a pain unless your driving and the other two offer the ideal locations if going to Epcot.:flower1:

Thanks. =)
I should mention, this trip it's just myself (33) and my Mom (50 ... something ;). So characters meals aren't a big deal for us. We are going to several of them as we are meeting up with my BFF and her family. That's actually wht we didn't pick Akershus... The Princess' freak me out. Too much makeup or something. LOL! Oh and we would just take a taxi to ether place. I have found in the past it's easier for early morning breakfasts. Thanks again!

In your situation I would choose 1900 PF over Boma. For breakfast it is not really worth going out of your way to eat at Boma for basically the same food you'll get at 1900 PF (1900 PF is slightly better IMO). I also don't feel it is worth taking a taxi to get to 1900 PF from POR. Just hope on a MK bus and take the monorail over to GF. We have never waiting long to get a bus for an early morning ADR while staying at POR. Will it take more time than taking a taxi, yes, but I don't think it is worth the extra expense plus it gives you an extra ride on the monorail. :thumbsup2

Actually I liked the breakfast at Boma a bit more than 1900 PF although both were OK. If you want to do the monorail-transfer option (fun ride but is going to take a little time), the new buffet breakfast at The Wave is getting some darned good reviews, too.

I'd go to Olivia's for breakfast...if you're going to travel it would be cheaper and better especially if character's weren't an issue.

Never even looked at Olivia's. Thanks! And we are on the DxDP so not too worried about the prices. Thanks for the comments. This is great info!

I would take a taxi to Cape May before either of them. Then just walk to EPCOT.

1900 PF breakfast was very good, can't comment on Boma as we have not been there for breakfast. 1900 PF had plenty of things to choose from and everything was great. We also enjoyed going the the Grand Floridian resort.

I have never been to Boma. I have been to 1900 Park Fare. I liked the characters there though it has been a long time.
